POP AMBIENT 2006 also features some hot new entrants, for example jazzy Uli Teichmann who comes up with free piano improvisations over smoothed sound echos and who, as the name suggest, is the father of the lively Teichmann Brothers. You will also find for the first time two Pop Ambient cover versions: Fleetwood Mac's classic hit "Albatros" in a wonderful version produced by K?hncke/Heimermann and already known from the Speicher 031. And Klimek's version of Eric Sati's master piece "Gymnop?die. In the meantime, the POP AMBIENT series enters its sixth year and has become a vital part of KOMPAKT's label profile.
