The next strike from our nascent KOMPAKT EXKLUSIV series (the game is in the name!) is a particularly epic piece of floor lore - rather a space opera gone road movie than a quick trip to the dairy mart, this release from London-based beatsmith ELIJAH SIMMONS pulls out all the stops and paints some pretty massive soundscapes with its freewheeling synths. Both cuts, the roaming title track PISCES and apocalyptic flipside hustler SCORPI, reveal some serious commitment to magical realism in techno and turn out quite the summiteers in the process, reaching for the stars and also naming a few of them.
