Falkplatz Daten 03
Falkplatz daten 03 is the third release on Falkplatz's digital sub label. This time around the label delivers five tracks from 5 different artists from 5 different countries. You will also find some debuts here: Antananarivo, maybe Madagascar's first electronic music producer, the anonymous 'The Deputy' from Jazztown New Orleans, and the mysterious Anom Vitruv from the snow-capped Swiss peaks. The first track comes from Guy J. The israeli producer is well known for his emotional releases on Bedrock, however this new track 'Inferno', ventures deep into the more subtle sound of Falkplatz. The Deputy is a modern day techno vigilante from New Orleans, USA. He performs live in the crowded music halls of the Mississippi Delta, using only hardware and no computers. 'The Man In The Box' is the first recording from The Deputy: frenetic, unchained, mesmerizing. Anom Vitruv, from Berns, Switzerland makes his debut with a heavy and crafty workout - just a fantastic track to kick the big technofloors. After a long period of silence Vidab's Wouldbenice is back with a great house tool using a sentence from a Slices interview with the dutch Producer and DJ Shinedoe. Antananarivo explains his contribution in his own words: '...My greatest influence is this strange guy from the 'Hearts' in Germany, STL or so. Since 6 months we have internet here. So I found his music. I also found a plastic of a guy called 'Maurizio' on the market here in Antananarivo. I don't know him. I think he is Italian, sounds like for me. What about Dr.Motte? Is he still making techno. Say hi to him when you meet him in Berlin. I will give you the track, but i dont want too good master. This track must sound like my island. Ruff, proud and poor. Tell the people in that Berlin.great house tool using a sentence from a Slices interview with the dutch Producer and DJ Shinedoe.Antananarivo explains his contribution in his own words: '...My greatest influence is this strange guy from the 'Hearts' in Germany, STL or so.
