Tokyo-based soundsmith LYCORISCORIS aka Yunosuke Senoo has been making electronic music since 2009, presenting his debut album “From Beyond The Horizon” in 2011. Performing live with laptops, pianos and other hardware, he specializes in intricate, pop-infused instrumentals with a distinctly organic feeling – which is also the scope of his KX debut offering TRANSIENT EP. Two original cuts introduce us to Senoo’s airy and playful sound world, supported by a remix from MATT KARMIL on the flipside – the globetrotting Briton indulges us with a sturdy dance floor adaptation of IN THE DEEP that will delight fans of his atmospheric crackle and propulsive, minimalist beatscapes.

Der aus Tokyo stammende Klangtüftler LYCORISCORIS aka Yunosuke Senoo beschäftigt sich seit 2009 mit elektronischer Musik und hat 2011 sein Debütalbum “From Beyond The Horizon” vorgestellt. Als erfahrener Live-Performer am Laptop, Klavier und anderem Gerät hat er sich dank detaillierter, Pop-beeinflusster Instrumentaltracks mit einem distinkt organischen Gefühl einen Namen gemacht – was ebenfalls recht genau den Rahmen für sein KX-Debüt TRANSIENT EP absteckt. Zwei originale Aufnahmen führen uns an Senoos luftige und verspielte Klangwelt heran, mit Unterstützung eines Remixes von MATT KARMIL auf der Rückseite – der weltreisende Brite verwöhnt uns mit einer robusten Tanzflur-Adaptation von IN THE DEEP, die Fans seines atmosphärischen Knisterns und seiner minimalistischen, antreibenden Beatskizzen begeistern wird.
