KAFKATRAX is a Profan project by Wolfgang Voigt, limited to three Maxis and one CD. The name KAFKATRAX is selected for two main reasons: First, because all sounds used except the Bassdrum, are made out of voices taken from a Kafka audiobook. And second, because the abstract overlaying and stratification of voices and word-fragments over five octaves create a psychotic-paranoid, “kafkaesque “ atmosphere. All three Maxis are handpainted, numbered, limited to 199 copies a 9,90 € each and only available via Kompakt Mailorder – KOMPAKT.FM EXKLUSIV – .

KAFKATRAX ist ein auf drei Maxis und eine CD begrenztes Profan Projekt von Wolfgang Voigt. Die Namensgebung KAFKATRAX hat zwei Gründe: Zum einen sind alle Klänge außer der Bassdrum aus den Stimmen einer Kafka Hörbuch CD gemacht. Und zum anderen erzeugt die abstrakte Überlagerung und Schichtung von Stimmen und Wortfragmenten über fünf Oktaven eine psychotisch-paranoide, “kafkaeske“ Atmosphäre. Alle drei Maxis sind handbemalt, nummeriert und auf 199 Stück a 9,90 € limitiert und nur im Kompakt Versand – KOMPAKT.FM EXKLUSIV – erhältlich.
