Degustibus Music is a record label founded somewhere in 2011. Equally influenced by the wildlife of the Amazon as well as by the post modern architecture of the sub-urban european metropolis, the label has created a unique attitude, perfectly described by the name itself: "De gustibus non est disputandum" is Latin for "there is no disputing about tastes”. Solely focused on three artists, each with his own unique vision and sound: Batongo, Fango and Rubini. During the label parties they play together all night, melting into a single Degustibus landscape. Furthermore, beautiful artworks for each event are crafted by renown artist Luca Zamoc, who is responsible for the label visual image.

Fango is a virtuous perfectionist obsessed with mixing bassdrums, recording percussions and sampling drummers. It doesn't matter if it's a drum machine or a gong from an orchestra, he will make it sound right. Described by Michael Mayer in a recent interview for the Guardian as "the most insane Italian since Berlusconi" as well as Marcel Dettmann describing the track Vampiro as "Really straight but I love the atmosphere, it gives me goosebumps!", Fango's productions are hitting dance floors across the world a lot lately, mainly due to being played out by the likes of Tales of Us, Jackmaster, Dj Hell, Solomun, 2manydj's, Mano Le Tough, Agoria, Ame and many more. With tracks like Wek, Aguirre, Caballos, N1, Vertigo (remix of Cosmin TRG's track with Tales Of Us), Tei, and Vampiro having a big influence on the current underground scene, Pulse Radio have included Fango on their 10 artists to watch in 2014. His body of work see's releases on labels such as Hell Yeah records, Kompakt, 50 Weapons and his main home Degustibus Music, resulting in growing demand for Fango's remix skills as well as his much loved drum programming.

Rubini started his career in the early '90s, involved in (or better say overwhelmed by) the new house-underground vibes of that magic period, playing a lot of important and influential clubs in Italy. After a number of experiences in the music industry Denis co-founded Degustibus Music with the aim to produce the music he likes in total freedom. As a DJ he likes to play long sets mixing disco, house and sometimes techno on serious sound-systems. As a producer Rubini enjoys his time playing with random knobs and buttons on the gears collected over these years of love for house music.

Not much is to be known about Batongo, previously an active euro dance producer, released a bunch of hits in the nineties. 10 years ago, after a traumatic experience he escaped in Perù and retired from the music business, during this years, on his spare time he made a lot of music, not meant for the public, just for himself. Now he is still in Perù, not willing to move back to Europe but barely broke, he sold us the rights on his entire collection of unreleased recordings with condition of not revealing his real identity. We will unveil a series of EPs ranging from obscure deep to psychedelic disco.
