(en) Martin Eyerer is not just a musician; he is a real artist. Martin is a 'man of action'! Ambition, diligence, creativity and perfectionism are his chief characteristics. More than 20 (!) years of experience and well over a hundred (yes, 100) releases or remixes, as well as DJ gigs on every continent on earth – this a track record that speaks for itself. In essence, he simply wants to be the best, and this must be the reason for the continuous reinvention of himself. To just follow trends has never been Eyerer's device. Quite the opposite: he often bucks them entirely! By any measure, this Stuttgart-born artist values his personal taste more than anything else, and very rarely has this taste deceived him: you may trust him on it! With 'Tiny Little Widgets', Martin Eyerer has just finished his second solo album. Two years after the distinctly dancefloor and club-oriented 'Word of Mouth', once again musical diversity is the main focus for him. With skill and deliberation he manages to find the balance between DJ tools and listening pieces, while always staying true to himself. These tracks are not just geared towards DJs or clubbers, but generally for people with a musically open mind. 'Tiny Little Widgets' represents new territory, both in the experimental and musical sense. To achieve this, Martin has deliberately picked artists from different genres with whom to collaborate. Artists he simply deems worthy. And crucially, where in the past Eyerer rarely incorporated vocals, he now breaks this mould. For example, he was able to work with the Cuban singer America Rodriguez for the song 'Un Empujon'. The track 'Good Time' got its vocals from Reggea Don. The latter's dancehall vibe seems to be skilfully translated into an electronic tune. Then there is another collaboration with Phil Barnes who - according to Eyerer - is 'one of the best singers he knows'. Barnes has already worked with Timo Maas, Paul Oakenfold, Moguai and many more – artists and producers that fully underline his performing quality. Especially gratifying and successful is the work with internationally well-known singer Kosheen. Over the last 10 years, Martin has created three remixes for her - and now it was her time to contribute back the other way. By now, the musical breadth of the album should be quite apparent! Of course, other high-ranking artists are also ready to serve as remixers. Equally, it was clear that the project was not going to be based on acts which are 'hyped' currently, but on artists who are appreciated by Martin for their musicality and friendship. Once again, the impressive list of remix-producers speaks for itself: Thomas Schumacher, Florian Meindl, Tom Clark, Tigerskin, Namito, Sasse vs Phonogenic, Gel Abril, Martin Woerner, Alex Niggemann, Mihalis Safras, Helmut Dubnitzky, Patrick Zigon, and Stephan Hinz. These names, like Martin himself, stand for high quality 'club sounds' and are going to contribute their interpretations of TLW-tracks. We are thrilled about it, and we think you will be too! In the run-up to the album's release it already seems clear – Tiny Little Widgets will polarise opinion. There will be some people who are surprised by the vocal tracks, but others will just be amazed by the versatility of this album. Certainly, there will be enough talking points here to discuss for a long time to come! Uniquely this time, the album won't be released on Martin Eyerer's own label, Kling Klong, but on Cologne-based imprint, Blu Fin. This too is another sign of Martin's new approach to his work. Based on the successful and positive collaborations between Blu Fin and Martin Eyerer during the last few months, as well as label head Andrea Engels' enthusiasm for the album, there was no doubt that the release should be on Blu Fin. In addition, this will be the first ever album release on Blu Fin, which creates both the potential and the motivation for all involved parties to make the event as special as possible! A double CD was chosen as the best format: first the album as a whole, secondly a CD containing the remixes. 14 tracks of Eyerer, as well as the remixes, will come out as digital releases. There will also be vinyl record packs with the original and remixed tracks. October 2010 is scheduled to be the month of the release. Simultaneously, the world wide club tour will start. Already confirmed are dates for China, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Australia and, of course, Europe. Starting from now, fans should anticipate the arrival of Martin Eyerer at their favourite club, where they can welcome him and his new master work. It goes without saying that one or two extra-special goodies will be included, too!

Der ständige Wille der Beste zu sein treibt Ihn unaufhaltsam nach vorn. Dies ist sicherlich auch der Grund dafür, dass er sich ständig selbst neu erfindet. Trends nach eifern war noch nie die "Eyerer`sche" Devise. Im Gegenteil, es darf auch gern mal gegen den Strom gehen. Viel mehr Wert legt der Stuttgarter hingegen auf seinen persönlichen Geschmack. Der hat Ihn nur selten getäuscht – daher ist auf diesen auch Verlaß. Mit "Tiny Little Widgets" kommt nun Martin Eyerer`s zweites Solo Album auf den Markt. Zwei Jahre nach dem sehr Dancefloor und Cluborientierten "Word of Mouth", steht diesmal die musikalische Vielfalt im Fokus. Geschickt wie gewollt schafft er den Spagat zwischen Dj Tools und "Listening-Stücken", bleibt dabei aber stest auch sich selbst treu. Das Ziel ist es, nicht nur Dj`s oder "Clubber" mit diesen Tracks zu erreichen, sondern auch musikinteressierte Menschen die über eine gewisse Portion "Open Mind" verfügen. "Tiny Little Widgets" steht auch für Experimente und musikalisches Neuland. Martin hat sich gezielt Künstler aus anderen Genres herausgepickt. Künstler die er schlicht und einfach gut findet! Waren typische Eyerer Tracks bisher selten mit Vocals bestückt, so geht er hier nun neue Wege. Als Sängerin für das Stück "Un Empujon" konnte er die Kubanerin America Rodriguez gewinnen. Der Track "Good Time" bekam seine Vocals von Reggea Don. Hier wurde geschickt versucht dessen Dancehall Vibe, elektronisch umzusetzen. Ebenfalls kooperierte Martin mit Phil Barnes. Der wie Eyerer sagt "einer der besten Sänger ist, die ich kenne". Barnes hat bereits mit Timo Maas, Paul Oakenfold, Moguai und vielen mehr gearbeitet. So liest sich die Liste der Remix-Prouduzenten mehr als eindrucks und vor allem verheißungsvoll: Thomas Schumacher, Florian Meindl, Tom Clark, Tigerskin, Namito, Sasse vs Phonogenic, Gel Abril, Martin Woerner, chase buch & nick Olivetti, Mihalis Safras, Helmut Dubnitzky, Patrick Zigon und Stephan Hinz stehen für "high quality club sound" und werden ihre Interpretationen der TLW-Tracks beisteuern. Man darf also gespannt sein! Bereits im Vorfeld steht fest – Tiny Little Widgets polarisiert. Wem Stimme von vorneherein nicht gefällt, der hat es mit den 5 vocaltracks natürlich schwer , ebenso wurde aber einigen Tracks bereits "Hitpotential" vorhergesagt. Für Gesprächstoff ist also schon mal gesorgt ! Erscheinen wird das Album, diesmal nicht auf Kling Klong, sondern auf Blu Fin. Auch dies ist ein weiteres Zeichen, neue Wege zu begehen. Bestätigt durch die erfolgreiche, positive Zusammenarbeit zwischen Bu Fin und Martin Eyerer in den letzten Monaten - sowie die Begeisterung die Labelchefin Andrea Engels, für das Album hegte, ließ keinen Zweifel daran, auf diesem Label zu veröffentlichen. Zudem ist es der erste Longplayer auf Blu Fin – was die Sache für alle Beteiligten für eine super spannende und motivationsgeladene Aufgabe macht. Als geeignetes Format, wurde eine doppel Cd gewählt. Einmal das Album als ganzes, plus eine Cd mit den Remixen. Digital erhältlich sind ebenfalls die 14 Eyerer Stücke, als auch die der Remixer. Auch auf Vinyl wird es Packs mit den Originalen und geremixten Stücken geben. Geplanter Veröffentlichungs-Monat ist der Oktober diesen Jahres. Zeitgleich hierzu startet dann auch die weltweite Album Club Tour. Hier sind bereits Termine in China, Japan, Brasilien, Mexico, Australien und natürlich Europa confirmed.
