Alan Abraham who makes music as Portable and Bodycode, belongs to the very special character heads in the world of the electrical thump and sizzle. His releases amongst others were on Background, Context, Karat, Yore, Perlon, Spectral Sound and his own vehicle Süd Electronic. These abound only as they can from an independent-sovereign zigzag, they are right at home in the retail boisterousness; an island in the record bin. As well his debut for kindred spirits Musikkrause abounds also but as an autonomous, fulminating escapade in terms of lunacy, elation, freedom rocking a bacchanal attitude. Alan's inspirational sources appear to be so diverse, that he has worked in a nonchalant embodiment of melancholy-tinted voice, polyrhythmic afro-constructs and industrial/experimental drone refinements to this tone cosmos. With that he developed, supported on the pillars of house and techno, a frankness which is seldom heard. Two personable pieces - elementary and pretentious - play from a frank perspective that comes across so fresh and ... understood. They slip in unabashed and take care for an astounding public display. A heaven full of genial hypnosis and a human monstrosity! A Ok Then : Big-mouthed beats held at gunpoint meet a restrained early nineties zeitgeist and today's production know-how. Here you find the impact from techno and the ease of house excessively together. Brimming with an energetic; this stamina-burner effectively evaporates any exhaustion for the soulful in tumult on the parquet flooring of the world. B The Shallow Final : An absolutely intense nocturnal killer which fashions a lucid evening experience. A dancing sound-subsonic which even before wavy breathed-on expiration doesnít close the door. A flurry of deep, post-wave house. Yet enough crud and goo on the hands for an ecstatic control of the dance floor.
