And they really do love music.Among them are Greg Delon and André Dalcan - DJs, sound artists, organisers and last but not least good friends ¬- two mainstays in the nightlife of the Département 30 and embedded in the Techno and Electro House scene in Nîmes and France for a couple of years. Whoever has had the pleasure to join a party here knows exactly what I am talking about. A couple of months ago, I had the chance to listen to Greg's and André's current demo album "Tanz" really loud, and I realised immediately the unusual symbiosis between the two men and their machines. The sound is full of warmth, full of grooves, in spite of its apparently technoid features. Well, in the end, it still is the human being who decides on what comes out of the speakers! Who knows whether it is the mild climate or the region's wonderful red wine, but it surely is a matter of Greg's and André's passion and their unconditional love of music in general, the 1980s and the current club tunes in particular. Each track of this album has an inherent flair, develops an individual homage to Disco, Techno, House, Electro, Pop or Rave. Everything has an influence on how they think, what they do, what they produce and vice versa. It is a perfectly working sound/ecosystem where everything is in its right place. It is music not only for the small-scale habitat, but also for new biotopes with similar structures, for other Départements and other countries.The nice selection of friends who have contributed to this album fit perfectly into this synthetic entity created for a simple, yet omni-liberating purpose: "Tanz".

Sie sind voller Gastfreundlichkeit. Begeisterungsfähig. Mit dem nötigen Weitblick. Voller Charme und Humor. Und mit einer ausgeprägten Liebe zur Musik. Mitten unter ihnen: Greg Delon und André Dalcan.Deejays, Musiker, Veranstalter und nicht zuletzt gute Freunde, die seit Jahren in die Techno- und Elektrohouseszene Nimes' und ganz Frankreichs eingebettet sind. Zwei feste Säulen des Nachtlebens im Departement Nummer 30. Wer hier einmal eine Party miterlebt hat, weiß wovon ich spreche. Als ich vor ca. einem halben Jahr das erste Mal Greg`s und André`s aktuelles Demo Album "Tanz" laut hören konnte, war mir sofort klar, dass zwischen den Maschinen und denen, die sie bedienen, eine Symbiose entstanden sein muss, damit am Ende etwas derart warmes und grooviges entsteht, - trotz des vordergründig technoiden Charakters. Es entscheidet halt immer noch der Mensch, was am Ende aus den Boxen schallt! Ob es nun am milden Klima oder dem Rotwein der Region liegt, sei dahingestellt.Sicherlich aber an Greg's und André's Leidenschaft und ihrer bedingungslosen Liebe zur Musik im allgemeinen und den Achtzigern und aktuellen Clubsounds im besonderen. Und so entwickelt jeder einzelne Track auf dem Album sein eigenes Flair, seine eigene Hommage. Sei es an Disco, Techno, House, Elektro, Pop oder Rave. Alles beeinflusst ihr Denken, ihr Handeln und ihre Produktionen und wieder umgekehrt. Ein perfekt musikalisch handelndes Ökosystem, in dem alles seinen richtigen Platz hat. Musik für den engeren Lebensraum und für neue Biotope mit ähnlichen Strukturen. Andere Departements und andere Länder. Auch die handverlesenen Freunde, die auf diesem Album mitgewirkt haben, passen hervorragend in dieses synthetische Gebilde, kreiert für einen simplen aber alles befreienden Zweck: " TANZ".
