We are pleased to announce the second part of the 12" vinyl series from the new POPNONAME album "Surrounded by Weather". This second EP, titled BONUS EP, presents the instrumental dancefloor tracks "Perspective" and "Crack" from the album together with a new mix version of THE MOVEMENT. On side A is the wonderful "Krautrock-Disco" tune PERSPECTIVE, which comes full of deep energy and improvisation and reminds of a morning walk through the wet, German forest. The flip side starts with the radical CRACK, one of the core parts of "Surrounded by Weather" with its monotonous stroboscope-like sounds and hard, ecstatic dancefloor compatibility. The second track on side B is the new version of THE MOVEMENT. The "Revolution Mix" starts like a rhythm track with a funky beat, spiced here and there with guitar sounds and bass sequences until the vocal structure slowly starts to support the track's dramaturgy and makes this a beautiful Techno Pop tune. This BONUS EP is the perfect combination of 70s Kraut and 90s Techno feeling and will make both shining bright again!
