Toni Rios is not from Cologne. You can tell that by his name. No, he lives in Frankfurt and he has a Spanish background. And that's audible in his music. Frankfurt's thump meets Iberian grooviness. Toni Rios is resident DJ at Sven Väth's Cocoon Club. Apart from that his DJ skills and kindliness are acknowledged worldwide. Not to our surprise because we know Toni is cool. Toni sent us some tracks and they fit perfectly on Kompakt Extra. Because they're quite kicking at the bottom end. And they're exciting in the high range, too. If you put the bottom end and the high range together you'll get something very complete. Strong, beautifully crafted techno for 2007.
