(en) Distorded fucked-up bass, manga-ghetto sounds and a none too hidden passion for the dirty side of Chicago's Acid House made his famous, when he released his first 12" on Dj Hells record label Gigolo. He established a reputation with the Sumo Da House record on Gigolo and his following releases on Lazergun (a remix for New Yorker duo Puberty Love) and a very good 'Motorbike Tampopo Remix' of the track originally produced in New York by 'Lectronix [also known as Hong Kong Counterfeit] on Throb Disks featuring living legend Man Parrish on vocals. This track was picked up by Felix Da Housecat for his DJ selection in the American magazine Remix [january 2003 issue]: "I like the Tampopo Remix a lot - it's crazy! It has a dirty bassline like buzzz, buzzz. It'll go really good with the Poney Ep by Vitalic. With that kick and that bass line - where you've got the analog synths where they don't sound acid-y, but the frequency and the resonance are really sharp - those really work good on the dancefloor". The second Tampopo single 'Amadroid' was released on French label Play's Cool [charted by NYC's Sonic Groove record shop in between LFO and Radioactive Man new singles], coming with an exclusive remix by the famous Hong Kong Counterfeit team. During the year 2004, Tampopo signed to Trapez Ltd, the notorious Cologne based label. The first Tampopo single to be released is the two tracker 'Sellafield Two' - 'Oxygen Lazy' (Trapez Ltd 032), showing a different musical aspect of the French producer… Darkier, dubbier, haunted by electric tension ghosts… Could be the perfect soundtrack of the last days of humankind… and Tampopo paying homage to the electronic music 'Dons',..Kraftwerk! Eher lässige Basic Channel Sounds mit verspielten Westernmelodien sowie einem Disko-Kraftwerkschem Track auf der Rückseite, zeigen das sein Universum gross und vielfaltig ist, was man nach Suma Da House auf Gigolo und auf Play cool schon vermutet hatte zeigt sich hier in einer deepen und spielbaren , clubbigen Variante.
