(en) Since a new group or artists/ producers have manifested around the label Minus in the recent years, who seem to be free from the influence of the past Detroit sound and are releasing their own Style of Techno. Many musical changes have been happening in Detroit. A new music scene has appeared with Labels such as Ghostly and Spectral also quite a few independent artists. There seems to be source for new music as Detroit which has allways has been a leading city in the USA for techno. Ryan Crosson is one of the these new artists who has started producing music on his laptop in 2003. He attempts to separate his sound from other artists and to find a sound of his own. Trading practice time behind turntables for countless hours spent in front of a computer screen. Ryan focused on deep bass lines and quirky rhythmic noises to keep dance floors moving. He prides himself on hard work and dedication and after a little less than a year of producing his hard work began to pay off. In late summer 2004, Ryan was asked to become a part of Beretta Music Detroit, a techhouse label that will start with ist minimal imprint Beretta Grey quite soon.. He played live as a support to DJ Triple R during his USA tour in 2004 in Detroit and so made contact with Trapez. His "Say So" Trapez ltd release is his debut full length EP. It has been charted by Magda and Minus Crew and will be as great tool in the field of minimal techno with a lot of fine nuonces within his 4-Track Ep. Ryan Crosson will play live at the c/o pop music festival in Cologne: At the TRAPEZ Party on the 27th of august in the sensor club. Together with: Alex Under, M.I.A., Alex Smoke, Triple R and Dominik Eulberg.

(de) Seid sich rund um Minus in den letzten Jahren eine neue Equipe von Künstlern manifestiert hat, die scheinbar unbeeindruckt vom Detroit Sound der Vergangenheit ihren eigenen Stil von Techno veröffentlichten, hat sich viel getan in Detroit. Eine neue Szene ist geboren und Labels wie Ghostly und Spectral gehören dazu wie auch eine Menge neuer unabhängiger Künstler: Detroit, die Stadt schon immer für die USA eine führende Position in der elektronischen Musik Welt einnahm, scheint also weiterhin eine unerschöpfliche Quelle von neuer Musik zu sein. Ryan Crosson ist einer dieser neuen Produzenten der sich mit seiner Soundästhetik absetzen möchte und seit zwei Jahren hart an seinem Sound feilt. Dabei konzentriert er sich ganz auf deepe Basslines, und hyperaktive rhythmische Sounds. Ryan Crosson wird in Zukunft auch auf Beretta Music Detroit produzieren, präziser auf dem Minimal Imprint Beretta Grey. Ryan spielte als support auf der US Tour von Triple R 2004 während seines Aufenthaltes in Detroit und machte dort Kontakt mit Trapez. Seine erste 4-Track EP "Say So" die nun auf Trapez ltd erscheint ist von Magda und der Minus Crew gecharted worden und befindet sich auf dem besten Wege in die DJ Kisten verschiedenster DJs zu gelangen.
