Morita Takuya // CMYK Musik
Format // 12"
(en) Takuya Morita was born 1981 in Niigata (Japan) where it snowed heavily during every winter. He loved all sorts of electronic-music and had written simple songs on a toy keyboard since childhood. Later on, in the year 2000, he moved to Tokyo to go to university. There he became infected with the real underground club-sound, and was hooked especially on the minimal styled dance music. 2 years later he started producing his own tracks, and his first track appeared at the compilation cd released by the magazine FLOOR. Takuya produces sophisticated dance electronic music, whichs stands for minimal, groovy and quality clicky techno, and his first record sees the light in CMYKmusik, Madrid. His tracks are a collage of hot rhythms, fat basslines, funky samples and dancefloor euphoria. Akufen and Alex Under are his main sound referents and, no doubts about it, this release speaks of sweat, sweat and sweat… Get ready for the summer.
(de) Morita's Vorbilder sind Akufen und Alex Under. Man kann sich ausmalen wie sein Sound klingt... Swinging cut-up minimal!
