The name refl ects the musical concept of the label: Whereas the tracks of Platzhirsch are pushing theirselves to the fore by their enormous presence, the "kahlwild"-herd is more prudent and shy. The Canadian Ali Kahn masterly converts this concept: A light kick, sharp, short snares and unexpectet strange Voices. Good hunting!

Die Namensgebung spiegelt sich auch im musikalischen Konzept des Labels wider: Während die Stücke bei Platzhirsch sich durch ihre gewaltige Präsenz in den Vordergrund drängen ist das Kahlwild-Rudel vorsichtigerer und scheuerer Natur.
