It is amazing where all the demos are coming from these days. But it proves that the globalisation process has been completed, at least as far as music is concerned. STRATOS, 26 years old and living in Thessaloniki is one of the few pioneers of Greek Techno music who is not chasing fame and glory in other European metropolis yet. He presents three stunning minimal techno tracks: hefty, compact and straight to the point. Everything needed to end up in a great and stylish DJ set. It may sound a little bit vain or even prejudiced, but: We think this record is great and we will definitely play STRATO in our most favourite club. Well done..!

Wieder einmal begeben wir uns durch den internationalen Techno-Mikrokosmos des Minimalismus und landen diesmal mit unserer Plattennadel in Thessaloniki, Griechenland. Ist schon verrückt woher wir dieser Tage Demos bekommen. Macht es doch deutlich, dass die Globalisierung, zumindest in der Musik, abgeschlossen ist. STRATOS, einer der wenigen Pioniere der griechischen Techno-Szene, der noch nicht dem Ruhm in anliegenden europäischen Großstädten nachjagt, beglückt uns mit drei minimalen Techno-Knallern. Stark, kompakt, punktgenau. Adjektive die treffen. Also alles was man benötigt, um mal wieder in den Plattentaschen der DJs zu landen, die geschmackssicher ihre Lieblingsdisse beschallen wollen. Auch wenn es voreingenommen klingt. Wir finden diese Platte großartig und beschallen auch unseren Lieblingsclub mit STRATOS, 26, aus Thessaloniki. Schön aufgesagt - setzen!
