First of all, we should give you a short review on his activities: In 2000, "PMF Acht" started in a delicate and melancholic way into the early days of summer; in 2001, "Schwingkomplex" conquered our hearts with minimal, lively organ techno, and in 2003, "Neowoogie" was programmed shuffle funk perfect for the first rides in your convertible. But we don't want to talk about the past, we rather would like to talk about the presence: It's spring 2005 and it feels really nice! The master of minimal Shuffle-Michael-Jackson-Disco-Boogie-Jazz-Noise-Techno is back and right in time for the new bathing season at the house of Boxer. After Martiniq's various trips to BoxerSport, Sender and Areal, he is back at Boxer and comes up with 11 new tracks. Yes, it's him, Frank Martiniq and his new, compact treasure of music lives up to any expectations of his fans in the CDplayer world; not to mention that he is already among the most favourites on both sides of the global record players thanks to his three "Late Night Toolz" 12Inch series. And his moving from Neumuenster (up in the North of Germany) to Cologne - the metropolis as far as electronic music is concerned - was definitely the right decision. Here, Frank Martiniq, inspired by the vibrating night clubbing scene and the revitalised fun to party, more and more commits to the 4/4 beat with its inherent dance-guarantee. Moreover, thanks to his national and international club gigs and his various remixes for Spar/Jeff Milligan/Tenfoald Loadster/M.Schaffhäuser etc., he puts on even more pressure and precision for the most vital thing: the verve! Party poopers are out, its rave time again - but with loads of style! He is famous for his precision in elaborating his songs to the smallest score and shifting them into transparently shimmering micro fibre layers. The songs thus created are always amazing, always new and throughout funky. His music is both, great for the dance-floor and good for the mood. But one thing is for sure: Pop music will save the world, and this should be reason enough for us to love this record. And you will certainly love it, too the more you'll listen to it. Es wird unter Garantie wieder eine weitere Perle in Frank Martiniqs vielschichtigen Soundkosmos, den wir hier gerne noch einmal kurz Revue passieren lassen wollen. Im Jahr 2000 startet "PMF Acht" sanft und melancholisch in die ersten Sommertage. 2001 war "Schwingkomplex" mit seinem minimal quirligen Orgel-Techno in unseren Herzen. "Neowoogie" brachte uns 2003 programmierten Schuffle- Funk für die die ersten Fahrten im offenen Cabriolet. Aber reden wir nicht von dem was war, sondern was ist: Frühjahr 2005. Und das fühlt sich verdammt gut an! Der Meister des minimalen Schuffel-Michael-Jackson-Disco-Boogie-Jazz-Noise-Techno meldet sich hier und heute furios rechtzeitig zur Badesaison bei Boxer zurück. Nach Ausflügen zu BoxerSport, Sender und Areal ist er mit 11 Tracks wieder etwas länger für uns da. Frank Martiniq! Er wird mit dieser kompakten Perle Musik wieder seiner Fangemeinde an den CD-Playern dieser Welt gerecht. Zum Liebling auf beiden Seiten der globalen Plattenspieler ist er bereits jetzt schon durch seine dreiteilige "Late Night Toolz" 12Inch Reihe avanciert. Nicht unerheblich dafür war der Standortwechsel von Neumünster in die elektronische Musikmetropole Köln. Hier verschreibt sich Frank Martiniq mehr und mehr, inspiriert durch das pulsierende Clubleben und dem wiederentdecktem Feierspaß, dem 4/4 Takt mit Tanzgarantie.. Durch seine nationalen und internationalen Clubauftritte, sowie diverse Remixaufträge ( u.a. Von Spar/Jeff Milligan/Tenfoald Loadster/M. Schaffhäuser) gewinnt er ernorm an Druck & Präzision für das wesentliche: Leute zu begeistern! Spaßbremse war gestern, heute darf geraved werden - aber bitte mit Niveau. Die erschreckende Präzision mit der Frank Martiniq seine Songs bis hin zu jeder einzelnen Note zersägt und in transparent schimmernden Mikrofaserschichten ziseliert, verschiebt, bearbeitet ist bekannt. Die Überraschung der dabei neu entstehenden Songs ist aber immer wieder neu und jederzeit funky. Mal tanzbar, mal für den Bauch. Aber wer will sich da schon festlegen?
