(en) Bülent Gürler´s debut 12" on Trapez ltd is a dead cool "pacemaker". The record could have been released as well on Traumschallplatten´s house imprint MBF, since it is stylistically between house and techno, but finds its birth here and now on Trapez ltd! The Koala EP is a record in a Chicago techno house fashion but with a strong European feel to it. The tracks "Koala" and "Breaking the Hush" are haunting minimal groovers, with mad miniature sounds dancing silly on the the mighty basslines. The tracks are super relaxed but slack and fett in the production! They seem to emerge effortless, work their way smooth from one dynamic to the next, but are mighty in the bass. Both tracks are masters in keeping the pace and making the right moves. The nice stop and go action makes people addictive to Bürlent´s groove, a beat that never stops... actually... this is the key to his EP.

(de) Bülent Gürlers Debüt auf Trapez ltd ist ein super cooler Schrittmacher. Die "Koala" EP hätte auch auf MBF erscheinen können, denn sie trägt auch einen großen Anteil an House Gefühl in sich! Die Stücke "Koala" und "Breaking the Hush" sind gespenstische Minimal Groove Stücke, mit Miniatur-Sounds die auf den Basslines verrückt tanzen, ohne das es hektisch wird. Von Natur aus sind die Stücke super entspannt und warten auf den richtigen Moment für Dynamikveränderungen, die sie dann eiskalt umsetzen. Die beiden Tracks haben trotz ihrer Entspanntheit einen starken Chicago Jack Einfluss mit europäischem Einschlag. Bülents Groove ist der Schlüssel zum Erfolg seiner Stücke, die je länger sie laufen den Clubber immer mehr in den Bann ziehen. Beide Stücke machen dies ohne jegliche Anstrengung sind dabei immer cool. Bülent kontrolliert souverän das Tempo der Stücke und hat die Dynamik voll im Griff
