The Finnish producer Jari Marjamäki actually lives and works in Lisbon/Portugal. After his contribution for the TRAUM compilation "Intercontinental V/A", he has finally made his long way back to Cologne and comes up with a 12"Maxi release on KICKBOXER. Jari Marjamäki presents his very own vision of minimal Techno, paired with the typical Iberain flair. Vasco da Gama would have loved if he did not die in 1524. With laid-back, minimal tunes to dance to anywhere anytime, ZENTEX gives us the feeling of an everlasting summer; as if you spent the most beautiful hours of the day doing what you love. And when it comes to Jari, it's music, that's for sure. "Käyrä" makes the start, a little, bitter-sweet ear candy that will make you nod your head. Soft harmonies, little whispering sounds of a gust of wind, like the summer sun glistening on the endless Atlantic Ocean and waves of rumbling bass sounds melting on the beach. Simply perfect for the later sunset atmosphere at the lambent campfire is the stylish track "Anda Lucia". The minimal knarz tunes and guitar amplications will aourse the tango dancer. Olé! During the after hour rush, Alex Under pops in and presents his ultra-funky remix of "Käyrä" that thrills the the slightly melancholic-romantic crowd again.
