(en) Peter van Hoessen creates his technoid tracks from a refreshingly different angle and immediatly struck a nerve at the Lan Muzic crew. This very skilled producer grabs a dark and pleasent atmosphere to create his songs with striking sounds and shifting arrangements that grow on you with every listen. With one track being more uplifting and the second staying in the dark and twisted realm this ep features two fine examples of his musical talents. On top the ep delivers a remix of the in-house top jocks Exercise One that prove once again how to nail a track without cracking the surface. Peter van Hoessen is part of the Foton Crew from Brussels that have since years been responsible for a series of acclaimed parties and releases. Peter - who is a pro when it comes to sound engineering - has a wide musical background and has releases music from jackinh tecno to broken beats and abstract electronica. This eclectic foundation made him a perfect fit for the Lan Muzic philosophy of presenting music with a certain twist.
