(en) Dear friends of Boxersport, Here comes Stefan Schrom with his new solo record. With "I Feel For U" he proves once again that he is THEEE Big Chief Electric of Cologne's Techno kitchen. Following the motto "Less is more", Stefan Schrom needs no more than an extremely dry bass drum which is constantly hammering till the break, sensitively modulated hi-hats and the characteristic, weird sequencer modulations to guarantee that you will have a great party time. And the way this guy aims at "the optimum effect" is almost too cheeky. But let me tell you something: this rocks. On the flip side, Michaela Dippel aka ADA comes up with a surprisingly nice and playful Neotrance remix version in line with her releases on Areal: No shadow without light and the nastily rocking electronic music monster suddenly becomes gentle and soft and shows us the way into the sky where pink pony clouds are passing by and inebriated people are tenderly whispering "I Feel For U"

Und mit "I Feel For U" macht er noch mal ganz deutlich, warum er DER Big Chief Electric in der Kölner Techno Küche ist: Nach dem Motto "Weniger ist mehr" braucht Stefan Schrom nicht mehr als eine staubtrocken, unbeirrbar bis zum Break vor sich hinhämmernde Bassdrum, sensibel modulierte HiHats und klassisch verschrobene Sequencer Modulationen für das nächste Stück Partyeuphorie. Und das ist schon fast zu unverschämt, wie offensichtlich der Mann auf den "Optimalen Effektwert" zielt. Aber Kinder, es rockt. Auf der Flipside geht Michaela Dippel aka ADA den umgekehrten Weg und überrascht mit einem liebevoll verspielten Neotrance Remix. Das kennt man ja schon von ihren Areal Releases: wo Schatten ist, da ist auch Licht, und das gerade noch böse-rockende Emu-Monster hat ein Herz und weist den Weg in den Himmel, wo Rosa Pony-Wolken ziehen und sich berauschte Menschen zärtlich sagen "I Feel For U".
