(en) Detroit's Ryan Crosson is a great upcoming artist that was discovered by Trapez ltd at an early stage. Since then he has released several 12s" also on Minus (under a different alias) and Logistic. His jacking rhythms on the "Gotham Road" EP (Trapez Ltd 45) have gained him respect worldwide. The original tracks have now been remixed by two of the hottest DJs/producers of now: Bruno Pronsato and Magda. Both are figureheads in the minimal scene with an distinctive handwriting. Bruno Pronsato has remixed Ryan's track "Hopskotch" in a grand and clonky way. The track is stripped down and cool, comparable to Guido Schneider but unique in it´s own way. With a nice movement and flow which makes it attractive for lots of DJs as a tool. Magda is a heavily booked DJ. She has fuelled her "Gotham Road" remix with her club experience. The mix, that was recorded in Richie Hawtins studio, is fat in sound even for Magda standards. It is nicely shifting gears quite a bit, has a fantastic break down and a cool psychedelic energy running throughout the remix. A precious pearl!

Seit dem hat er eine Vielzahl an 12" auf Trapez ltd, Minus (unter einem Pseudonym) und auf Logistic veröffentlicht. Die jackenden Rhythmen seiner "Gotham Road" (Trapez ltd 45) haben ihm weltweit großen Respekt verschaffen. Die beiden Original Stücke wurden nun von zwei der Angesagtesten DJs & Produzenten: Bruno Pronsato und Magda gerimixt. Beides Galionsfiguren der Minimal Szene mit einer unverwechselbaren Handschrift. Bruno Pronsato hat Ryan´s Stück "Hopskotch" in einer erhabenen und clonkigen Art gerimixt. Sein Mix ist reduziert und cool, vergleichbar mit Guido Schneider; steht aber stilistisch für sich. Bruno hat einen Fluss in sein minimales Arrangement gebracht, der das Stück als Tool für viele DJs attraktiv macht. Magda hat ihre Cluberfahrung in ihren "Gotham Road" Remix einfließen lassen. Ihr Mix, der in Richie Hawtins Studio aufgenommen wurde, ist Fett im Sound, sogar für Magdas Standart. Er ist spacig und hat einen fantastischen Breakdown und eine psychedelische Energie die sich durch das ganze Stück bewegt. Eine echte Perle!
