880319001826 "I came the long way..." you can take this literally. Or "Good things come to those who wait". Since his legendary first Superpitcher Maxi (KOMPAKT 35 – Heroin/Tomorrow) three years ago, numerous hits released on Speicher/Total etc and his tremendous remixes (for D-ntel/Casten Jost...), there he is: the temple of the Poet Techno who opens his hand-painted gates and absorbs us in the empire of 1001 dreams we wouldn't dare to dream alone. We are enchanted, floating weightlessly through the holy halls of self-knowledge, and we can only sense this burning desire of the sighing, eternal bassdrum of life. We wouldn't even hesitate to call this Passion-Techno, if CLUBPOP wasn't the better expression. With "Here comes Love" , Superpitcher easily performs the delicate balancing act between songwriting and DJ-music. The result is a variegated round dance referring to the most dazzling moments in the history of club and pop music: our imaginary eye will see Françoise Hardy and DJ Pierre dancing closely at Jamaica's Studio One, or Brian Ferry taking drunken Elvis Presley's temperature and contemporary R&B flirting with Cologne's mimalism. The whole scenario is floating on a fluffy cloud, "powered by emotion" and straight into your own emotional disco. "Here comes Love" features only unreleased tracks which have been created in a closed process of more than 12 months. The result may confidently be called album as it does not present just a simple compilation of new tracks. Here, it's more about the heavily used P-word pleasurably melting in our mouth. Here comes POP Here comes Superpitcher. Here comes Love.
