Gotham Road

Ryan Crossan // Trapez Ltd
With the Gotham Road" EP we celebrate the return of Detroit based Ryan Crosson, who started his career on Trapez ltd and has gained a reputation through his follow ups on M_nus, Telegraph, Leftroom , Baretta Grey and Esperanza. He has recently played live at: Inferno Club (Madison, WI), Subtonic (New York City), Watergate w/ John Tejada, Justin Maxwell and Dave Turov -(Berlin), The End -(London) etc. Ryan is gathering more and more influence in the minimal techno and jack scene internationally, as people describe his music as weirdo techno. Magda has supported him from the beginning. Describing his first record on Trapez ltd in Canada's most popular electronic dance music magazine XLR8R like this: "Shuffle beats and low bass lines crawl under your skin like little bugs. Tracks like "Cold Feet" and "Painter's Day" have such a great swing that you feel like your body is subconsciously being pulled in every direction!" With "Gotham Road" Ryan has continued his style and has come up with a real killer on Trapez ltd. The speed and craziness within this polyrhythmic track is enormous and shows Ryan Crosson is ready to take on the dance floors of the world. Production wise it definitely shows his most up to date work and his strongest production, being a real power tool on the floor. With one track per side it definitely has a lot of of dynamic, the DJ will appreciate. The flipside "Hopskotch" is one of the big hits in his live set.
