After the terrific name dropping on the recent Boxer Sport 12 inch releases, for example M.A.N.D.Y, Robag Whrume, Tekel and the really hot Dirt Crew, you may now wonder: "Who the hell is Duoteque?". And here comes our immediate answer: Duoteque is Andrea Fearlin and Dusty Kid, two Italians from Sardinia. Sounds charming, dreamy and idyllic, doesn't it? But that's what it is, indeed. Since the 1990s, both have been deeply rooted in the Italian club scene and the tracks they sent us were so outstandingly great among the flood of hourly incoming demos that Boxer had no other choice than to offer them the leap into the national and international DJ cases. And we are only too pleased to help. The minimal tech house sounds they present us with "EP ONE2/ Boxer 025 are fresh and easy going: Whizzing high-heads, whispers and words, deepest bass lines and most unusual sounds.
