After having released their really successful 12" "Luminesk" on Boxer in June, both guys returned to the studio in order to make us happy again. But this time and rather surprisingly, Bryan & Anton do not offer us two pure rocking tracks , nor can they be regarded as a clean tool. "Talking To You" is a real pusher and the fantastic break makes you get high, but nevertheless it is the track's inherent deepness that supports it, and keeps it on the ground. You know, we are far from being out of touch with the real world, and lumpish is out. The melodic "Ask The Dusk" still has a lot in common with a rocking track, yet its potential are the melodic Detroit sounds driven by a concise kick drum & striking claps. You may call it Detroit House. Music that fits into times where the focus is on House, and melodies are welcome again.
