This charming Frenchman doesn't need much further introduction.He's been an integral part of the KOMPAKT family ever since his debut album "Bienfait" in the year 2000. His overall musical mission is the almalgamation of minimal, deep house, dubtechno and ambient. He developped an ultra catchy way to wrap you around his finger with a maximum of warmth, emotion and elegance. The title track "Can't stop loving you" can easily be deducted as his most DISCO work to date. It's a jolly well tempered house tune driven by a discoish bassline and euphoric stabs. We're not trying to make you believe that the voice of AUBELIA is the next great discovery. But in times where Starsearch and comparable TV programs torture us on a daily basis with GREAT singers we thought it could be a real relief to listen to a voice that's NOT perfect but even the more touching and sexy. "Can't stop loving you" is gonna stick in your ears right after the first listen. It's kitsch, it's pop and there's a true love story behind it. And it's only one of three amazing tracks on this record. Oh, by the way: Our Greek friends from KLIK Records in Athens are just about release a ‚Tribute to Jonas Bering' album containing this wonderful musician's brightest moments. So keep your eyes focussed - focussed like a laser!
