Dear Friends of the Boxer Sport fan club, After all this birthday and jubilee hype, we are finally back on the track and would like start the post-fifty era with a throughout minimal and raving new 12" release. Here is Paul Nazca - the spearhead of French Techno - from the south of France. And hard to believe but true: next to producing superb Techno tracks on Scandium, BPitch or Giant Wheel for example, he is also into olive oil! No joke! Olive oil! Together with his brother, he is living in a beautiful mill, surrounded by innumerable olive groves. How lovely and romantic! You need a knack and a keen sense for and of both Techno and olives in order to produce first-class quality. And he manages really well! With his track "Ecume", he is screwing hypnotising sequences into our ears that won't come out again. This is Neuzeit Techno with references to earlier times. "Flash" is a subtle, almost melancholic sounding track that starts where "Heave ho!" stops. We are pleased, really pleased, and are waiting for this year's olive harvest.
