That time of year is upon us here in cold, snowy Cologne...excuse the lack of posts at KOMPAKT.FM over the coming days folks but Karneval has arrived which means the city turns upside down and gallons of Kölsch beer is drawn on taps across town. And the costumes...then there's music - plenty to be had....KOMPAKT fully represents starting now right here...see you on the other side!
IT'S ALAFF'LY DAY
Das Musiknetzwerk sound of cologne und Total Confusion präsentieren erstmals gemeinsam den traditionellen Weiberfastnachts-Open Air 2010.
Nach drei Jahren Pause kehrt das alte Total Confusion-Viergestirn Tobias Thomas, Michael Mayer, Superpitcher und Ralph Christoph an neuem Ort zurück in den elektronischen kölschen Karneval.
Das Barthonia Forum, direkt vor dem neuen Kreativzentrum cc4711, wird dafür ideale Bedingungen bieten. Im Herzen Ehrenfelds und nur ein paar Gehminuten vom Belgischen Viertel entfernt werden sich hier in alter Tradition von 15 - 22 Uhr wieder erwähnte DJs sowie illustre Gäste (u.a. Christian S. und COMA) im Dreiviertelstundentakt die Kopfhörer in die Hand geben.
