1979 Jo Saurbier was born in Cologne. He´s a likeable person who loves music and nature and he collects vinyl since 1994. His official career as a House and Techno Dj began in the year 2000 when he became resident of a Cologne based club.Since the beginning of 2003 Jo is working for Kompakt, ordering and selling records, and started to play gigs all over Europe.Instead of creating own music which would consign him to the rank of all those newcomer producers, he tries to celebrate and enjoy music as a gift. This you will notice in his soulful as well as powerful sets. I.a. because of his keen sense for the right music at the right time he became resident of the cologne Friday-myth “Total Confusion” at Studio 672 besides Superpitcher, Tobias Thomas and Michael Mayer.Finally one thing is more important than all above-mentioned facts: Jo Saurbier is an outgoing personality who performs well and who always entertains the audience, apparently with fun.
