Another one of Kompakt co-founder Wolfgang Voigt's many alias. FREILAND was originally released on the label of the same name  in the mid-late '90's and each 12" were differentiated by color. Somewhat similar to his Studio 1 recordings conceptually, FREILAND takes a more abrasive turn...well worth exploring and essential listening for Voigt fans.
